The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Hello IFRT Membership,

    Please join me in congratulating IFRT members who have recently been elected to the Executive Committee:

    Chair-Elect - Jennifer Coffey Griswold
    Treasurer - James (Jim) Neal
    Directors-At-Large - Cynthia Dudenhoffer and Kristin Pekoll

    We had an incredibly strong roster of candidates this year, and IFRT appreciates those members who stood for election for the 2023–2024 term and the participation of our membership in voting for these positions in the Round Table.

    Congratulations to those who were elected and will serve in the coming year!
