I’m keeping a close look on the lawsuit proceedings regarding Shira
Perlmutter’s request for a temporary restraining order. Her case has been denied a second time and things don’t look great for her request.
To me, just my opinion, these people judging such important issues know nothing about how libraries function.
What skills do they think librarians possess? Have these judges and lawyers asked us what our roles are?
Perhaps we need to be more vocal about our skills and emphasize how necessary we are to take truth to fact in this world we are living in now.
Let’s be proud of our profession,
I am.
