Hi all!
It was amazing to see so many people in Chicago: I wanted to re-surface the committee volunteer form so it's easy to find! I learned at Annual that the form is not expected to be ready until the fall so this is what we'll have to use.

Since every appointment will need to be completed in the ALA system, I wanted to share some more details about volunteering in ALA.

Volunteers for RT committees must be current IFRT members.

All IFRT members have to be ALA members.

ALA members can serve on a maximum of 3 committees across the association (I believe).

I also believe that your ALA member number will likely be required for the inputting process so you might want to track that down so you have it when we ask for it since it's going to be a manual process!
I'm hoping to get the chairs of each of the standing committees decided today and wrap up membership for the standing committees by the end of next week.
