    Hi everyone,

Friendly reminder to please consider passing along this opportunity to any library professionals you know who are interested in how we teach intellectual freedom principles to young learners! Lesson plan proposals for the forthcoming book from ALA Editions with the working title Free to Read, Free to Think: Teaching Intellectual Freedom to Teens are due April 20, 2026.. Together, this compilation of lesson plans will support those working with middle through high school students to explore the meaning of intellectual freedom and the application of these principles in their own lives. Attached is the PDF file with more details, and here is the submission link. Please reach out to me with any questions!

    Thanks for your help,

    Jamie
