Thank you Wanda. - I am so used to spending time on my ballot, “saving it” and finally “voting”.
If you open a ballot, don’t vote for anybody [yet] and close it, is it “gone”?
A curse or an honor, as an ALA Honorary Member I belong to every unit of ALA thus I have a very big ballot to get through. — and I do try to read all of them.
I look forward to seeing what happens.

Thanks for the heads up, Wanda! I only opened and submitted the IFRT ballot so far, and I noticed it looked different this year. I will be careful with the big ALA ballot. I'm so sorry your votes went astray!

Subject: Beware the ballot
In years past when voting I believe we could make selections, and return to the ballot to add to it. For instance, select some at large council members, then go back and select more. The vote was not final until clicking submit. It allowed us to read statements and do some research. BEWARE, when you try to exit out, and look at another ballot, all selections are lost. Also, be VERY careful, as the ballot looks different and hitting the wrong tab by accident, even with no selection made, casts the ballot, like when you are trying to go back or review or something you VOTE, by accident. Then, you cast your IFRT ballot with no selections on it. Oh, and no one can help you.
