One more shout out and big THANK YOU to everyone who attended and/or bought tickets to the Chicago White Sox - Boston Red Sox fundraiser game during the ALA Conference in June.

The final tally was 95 tickets sold, raising $722.00 for the LeRoy C. Merritt Humanitarian Fund! The Merritt Fund is devoted to the support, maintenance, medical care, and welfare of library workers who are denied employment rights or discriminated against on the basis of their identity, or because of their defense of intellectual freedom.

    Way to go, team!
