Hello, my name is Matthew Good, I am a former public school librarian and now an academic librarian. I submitted two proposals for the ALA 2025 conference in Philadelphia that were not accepted. Proposals for 2026 open on August 18 and I am planning to submit. If anyone has insight on proposals or getting on a panel presentation, I am looking for advice and suggestions.  Thank you!!

    Hi Matthew,

It's great that you're so excited about presenting at ALA Annual Conference in 2026. I'd recommend that you speak with Amanda Sand - she's the chair of the IFRT Programming and Events Committee, and she and I will also both be on a joint working group that involves IFC, COL, and other similarly aligned ALA groups in coordinating our submissions.

Let me know if you have any questions.
