    Hello all,

As we know challenges and legislation nationwide are increasingly restricting access to materials in our communities. I don't know that when I joined IFRT I was looking to be a part of something bigger than myself. In what seems like a scarier world now than four years ago, I can say that I am very proud to be involved in IFRT.  I take what I learn and bring it back to my library and hope that I am making a difference on a local level. I've met really interesting and fabulous humans as a part of our committees and I invite you to join these rad people and volunteer for an IFRT committee. From programming to publicity, awarding publications expounding the values of our right to read, there is something for everyone.

You can find more information on committees here. I hope you'll join up!
