The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

    Hi all,

    The IFRT has joined with ALA's Graphic Novels and Comics Round Table and Image Comics to produce a series of webinars during Banned Books Week. The webinars will feature a variety of topics related to challenged and banned comics and the freedom of expression. Webinars will be presented daily at 12:00 PM CST from September 23-27. 

    To register or learn more, please check out ALA's press release. If you and your patrons are participating in the webinars, please share your thoughts on social media using #BannedBooksWeek and tagging @IFRT_ALA.
