The Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) provides a forum for the discussion of activities, programs, and problems in intellectual freedom of libraries and librarians.

The IFRT Members Community group is the central hub for discussion, library and events. It is visible to all ALA members but only IFRT members can participate in the conversation.

  • 1.  IFRT Report 2021

All members of the Intellectual Freedom Round Table should be receiving a quarterly email from IFRT. Today the 2021 edition of the IFRT Report has been published. An email was sent with a handful of abbreviated blurbs. I hope you enjoy reading the annual report that outlines the discussions, planning, and accomplishments of IFRT leadership and volunteers.

The IFRT Report is available online and is included in Connect and archived in the ALA Institutional Repository.

As the IFRT staff liaison, it's my job to make sure that IFRT members are getting all the communications they should be. My hope is that if you didn't receive the email from IFRT, you're reading this discussion post and opening the link to the newsletter and absorbing all the valuable activities of the round table. My second hope is that you resubscribe to ALA communications so you don't miss out on the latest in library innovation, resources, leadership, policy, and continuing education opportunities.

If you still find that you are not receiving IFRT Newsletters or Reports via email or you just want to check your communication preferences to make sure you're receiving everything you should, please email me, kpekoll@ala.org, I'm happy to help get you all sorted out.
