    Dear Colleagues,

    Apologies for cross-posting.

You are invited to participate in a research study that will examine personal boundaries and institutional policies in place to support librarians in their attainment of tenure. The primary focus is to understand the types of written policies and informal practices that support tenure-track academic librarians during their tenure journey, especially considering changes to the work environment and support systems.

The study is open to faculty or academic staff members at a post-secondary institution in the United States and who are on a tenure track or have recently completed the tenure process within the last 5 years. Participation consists of completing an online survey that should take approximately 20 minutes. Please click here to access the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/96SGXTK

The survey will close on May 31, 2026. Thank you for your interest and participation. Email Alison Downey at alison.downey@valpo.edu for questions.

    Sincerely,

    Alison Downey,  Valparaiso University
