The recipient of the 2024 W. David Rozkuszka Scholarship is Erika Westhoff, a library and information science student at the University of Alberta. She also works at Colorado Mesa University. Westoff's introduction to government documents began with an unexpected retirement, but she says, "my choice to further pursue this work is no longer accidental. I want to be a government information librarian because this work uniquely supports our democracy and our patrons' lifelong learning." The W. David Rozkuszka Scholarship provides financial assistance to an individual who is currently working with or in government information/documents in a library and is trying to complete a master's degree in library science.  The scholarship was created in memory of W. David Rozkuszka, a former Documents Librarian at Stanford University whose talent, work ethic and personality left an unforgettable mark on our profession.

Please join us in congratulating Erika Westhoff!
