Call for Nominations: Notable Documents

  • 1.  Call for Nominations: Notable Documents

    Posted Jan 13, 2024 04:03 PM

    Hi All,

Please submit nominations for the ALA GODORT notable documents series.

Every year the ALA Government Documents Round Table asked  our community to nominate and highlight important and notable documents published during the previous year by international, federal, state, and local governments. Nominated documents are reviewed and judged by the Notable Documents panel, and the top-ranked documents are highlighted in Library Journal (example from last year). It is an excellent way to show librarians outside of our field that government publications are interesting, exciting, and important!

We are currently accepting nominations for Notable Government Documents of 2023. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, 2/2.
The submission form is online here: https://www.ala.org/rt/godort/godortnotabledocumentnominationform

Please reach out to Emily Alford, alfordem@indiana.edu with any questions.
