The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Government Documents Round Table is currently solicting nominations for recommendation for appointment to the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer (DLC).

    Fill out the DLC Nomination form for yourself or a worthy colleague:

    Appointment to DLC means that you:

    • Become a leader in the government documents community during this time of change,
    • Have your voice heard by the Public Printer,
    • Represent library interests on the gamut of issues involved in the Federal Depository Library Program, and
    • Get your travel expenses to DLC covered!

    Nominations are due by Dec. 5, 2011.
