The mission of the Games and Gaming Round Table is to provide the following:
  • A forum for the exchange of ideas and concerns surrounding games in libraries;
  • Resources to the library community to support the building and maintaining of library game collections;
  • A force for initiating and supporting game programming in libraries;
  • Create an awareness of, and need for, the support of the value of gaming and play in libraries, schools, and related learning communities.
  • Create an awareness of the value of games and gaming in library outreach and community engagement plans.
  • A professional and social forum for networking among librarians and non-librarians interested in games and gaming.

  • 1.  Witcher: Old World Board Game question

    Hey all, 

    Long shot, but I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the Witcher: Old World board game in their circulating collection? Our event card 42 has gone missing and I was hoping someone could send me a picture of it so I could make a replacement for our copy. We can't really afford to replace the whole game, but it's been popular so I hate to take it out of circulation for just one missing card.

    We don't have a copy, but it looks like support@goonboard.com is the email of the publisher's Customer Service team – they might be able to send you a replacement card? I've had decent luck in the past with reaching out to publishers for replacement pieces for games in my personal collection.

     

    If that doesn't work, there's a chance that the BGG forums for the game could help you out: The Witcher: Old World | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

    I tried their customer support and didn't have any luck. I was able to find an image of our other missing card on Board Game Geek, but not any of the event card texts unfortunately.
