Hey, folks - here is a proposed budget to be discussed at the next meeting.  We have a projected surplus of about $2,900, and need to decide what we want to apply it to, or whether we want to let a part of that roll into our endowment (the rest would be swallowed up by ALA).  We could splurge at the Conference, order additional/higher quality swag, design new things for the Store, or increase our grants, as a few ideas.

What exactly is *already* set aside in the budget for annual? (Aside from the potential $5k from CAH)

Molly, Carl, and I were working on a list of costs for annual this week but it's not clear exactly how much money we're working with.

Is this the only amount on the budget sheet for annual?
    Exhibits $1000

IUT REPRO CTR $350 --- what's that? Printing?

Wait, I think I was looking at an old fy25 worksheet that's still on drive

The updated version shows this as potentially available...

Conference Equipment $2000 (is this all for Grove/play? Or something else?)

Exhibits $1200 (is all of this left for Grove?)

Printing Outside $500 (guessing this is for annual?)

    Purchased Inventory $500 (???)

IUT REPRO CTR $350 (??? no idea)

    Sure, let's see...

IUT/REPRO is printing costs for jobs done internally by ALA, as opposed to the Printing-Outside line item.

    The Conference expenses are:

    • Exhibits - decorations for booth and Gaming Grove (currently $1000)
    • Purchased Inventory - swag, basically, ribbons, and games to use at Play/give away (currently $2000)
    • Meal Functions - food at Play if we do that again, currently where the $5000 CAH donation is projected to go

    Hope that clears it up!
