Hey, folks - I have an opportunity for LibLearnX - there has been some discussion about holding a "LibPlayX" event - basically a mini-Play - and I was looking at a potential venue for something cheap and informal, where we just meet up and hang out for games.

Long story short, I might be able to get it hosted at the Enoch Pratt Library in downtown Baltimore.  This is what my contact said:

"We had a retro gaming night here a few months ago and had all the consoles set up with board games and table games in the middle. We had drinks, snacks, and a DJ. We'd be happy to partner with you on that. We know that you don't have a lot of extra resources, but maybe you could facilitate the registration or help cover the busses and we would cover the bill? You could also select the games. We close at 5 on Saturday and Sunday so could do something from 6-9 or something like that? We can create whatever vibe you're looking for."

    Thoughts?

I'm not seeing a ton of board games in their collection. Can they provide a list of what they do have? Just so we can plan on what we would need to source.

If we need to do it cheaply, I can check out board games from BCPL, the neighboring system where I used to work. I know they have a decent collection. (I can reach out to them to get a list.)

We'll almost certainly need to supply the games, but I'm more than willing to bring a bunch.
