The mission of the Games and Gaming Round Table is to provide the following:
  • A forum for the exchange of ideas and concerns surrounding games in libraries;
  • Resources to the library community to support the building and maintaining of library game collections;
  • A force for initiating and supporting game programming in libraries;
  • Create an awareness of, and need for, the support of the value of gaming and play in libraries, schools, and related learning communities.
  • Create an awareness of the value of games and gaming in library outreach and community engagement plans.
  • A professional and social forum for networking among librarians and non-librarians interested in games and gaming.

    The early bird registration deadline for Core Forum 2025 is Sunday, October 5! Special conference rates on hotel rooms at the Hilton Denver City Center also end this Wednesday, October 17.

    Join your colleagues at Core Forum 2025, November 12-14, in Denver, CO, at the Hilton Denver City Center! Gather with old friends and make new connections while celebrating the intersection and overlap of the core work we do. Learn more about Forum and register for the main event and preconferences at www.coreforum.org.

    Two full days of presentations, interactive panel discussions, and activities are guaranteed to be both thought-provoking and highly relevant to participants' current and future career paths. Forum engages the collective expertise of presenters and participants, facilitates enriching conversations, and offers unique learning opportunities. Everyone, including non-Core members, are encouraged to register, bring real-life questions, share experiences, and network to learn new perspectives.

    Registration

    Consider becoming a Library Supporter only available to libraries at $2500. You will receive the following benefits:

    • Up to 8 Forum Registrations

    • Exhibitor Table Top

    • Listing with medium size logo on the Forum website

    • Acknowledgement on program and on social media 

    Core and Colorado Association of Libraries (CLA) members can save $150 by taking advantage of the Early Bird discount. Advance registration ends November 12.  Join Core and Save!

    Preconference sessions and tours tickets are available for an additional charge - space is limited. 

    Core has secured a room block at the Hilton Denver City Center hotel for registered Core Forum attendees. Housing reservations must be made prior to October 17. Space is limited.
