    Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a reminder for GameRT's call for presentation proposals. If you have any questions, feel free to message me or email gamert@ala.org. I am on the committee organizing this virtual mini conference.

March Mini Con 2025 - Call for Presentation Proposals

The Games & Gaming Round Table (GameRT) of the American Library Association holds a virtual mini conference every March. Presentations are 15-minute lightning talks, presented in blocks of 3-4 presenters with a group Q&A session. The virtual conference will be held on Friday, March 28th, 2025. This year's theme is VIDEO GAMES.

We are interested in presentations that connect video games to libraries- whether the focus is on collections, programming, education, or any other areas that bring video games and communities together. Proposals should explicitly state their relevance to libraries and community building, but presenters don't need to be a librarian or GameRT member to present.

The call for proposals is open through January 10, 2025. For more information and the proposal submission form, please see this blog post: https://games.ala.org/march-mini-conference-2025-video-games-libraries/
