    Fellow gamers -

I'm happy to announce that you can now add the new Games and Gaming Round Table to your ALA membership. Just log in to ala.org and use the "renew your membership" link to update your membership and add GameRT to it. Dues are $10 a year, although you'll see a pro-rated price if you're halfway through your current membership cycle.

It's great to see the Games and Gaming Member Interest Group evolve into a more official Round Table. I hope you'll join to help support ALA's gaming initiatives. If you'd like to volunteer to help with those initiatives (ALAPlay, National Gaming Day, a potential award, etc.), please contact JP Porcaro. You can also watch the GameRT Steering Committee space in Connect as it gets to work to provide input and feedback.

Count me in - just renewed my membership to add the roundtable.  I suspect that I have a coming battle to prepare for.  We just began Tuesday afternoon gaming at my library and also added a whole new board game cabinet.  Already the local newspaper is getting phonecalls...
