    Hello Everyone,

I hope you're enjoying these final weeks of summer and finding moments to rest, recharge, and soak in a bit of sunshine. As we prepare for an exciting year ahead with EMIERT, I'm sharing the dates and links for our next two Executive Board meetings so you can mark your calendars:

This year holds a lot of promise-continuing our important work, exploring new collaborations, and building early momentum for ALA's 150th celebration. I'm looking forward to all we'll accomplish together.

I'm also delighted to welcome Aubrey Huff, Assistant Director of Literacy and Continuing Education, as EMIERT's new ALA staff liaison. Many of you may already know Aubrey from her participation in Taste of the Town events in San Diego and Philadelphia. She's excited to support our work and help us reach our goals.

I look forward to seeing you all soon as we kick off another impactful and inspiring year together.

    Warm regards,
    Richard E. Ashby, Jr

    Chair/EMIERT

    Director/Sharon Hill Public Library

    President Elect/ Pennsylvania Library Association
