As 2024 comes to a close, allow me to take this time to express my deepest gratitude to each of you who share and support the mission and purpose of the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Round Table (CSKBART). It is my greatest hope that you are in good health and anticipating a phenomenal 2025!

Thank you for your continued devotion and commitment to the vision and legacy of Dr. and Mrs. King to foster diversity and a culture of excellence in children's literature. Please accept my deep appreciation for the continuing relationships and the consistent support of our Executive Board members, general membership, EMIERT, volunteers, authors, illustrators, and publishers. Each of you has contributed to the lasting impact and significant milestones of CSKBART.

As we prepare for the year ahead, we rely on your dedication to the work of honoring distinguished African American literature. Please accept our invitation to join CSKBART as together we continue to bring the power of meaningful and diverse literature to families, libraries, schools, and bookstores everywhere. Stand at the ready to volunteer and participate in the CSKBART 2025 programs beginning with the Reading Coretta's Books Literature Week in January and continuing through Black History Month (February), Women's History Month (March), John Steptoe Celebration (April), and ALA Annual (June). Details will be posted in ALAConnect.

May 2025 bring you enough . . . of all that brings you joy!
