  • To serve as a source of information on recommended ethnic collections, services, and programs.
  • To organize task forces, institutes, and workshops to carry out the functions of the Round Table as defined in the petition.
  • To develop for Annual conferences forums and symposia programs that deal with the key issues of ethnicity and librarianship.
  • To maintain a liaison with the Office of Library Outreach Services and cooperate with other ALA units, including the caucuses in joint projects for the betterment of outreach services.
  • To disseminate the work of the Round Table through a program of publications

    Greetings to all,

    I am currently looking for guest speakers for my TCH 442 (Organization & Access to Information in the School Library (Library Science)) and TCH 440 (Management of School Library) summer library courses (2022).

    If you would like to share knowledge or expertise about how you organize your school library specific to (dynamic shelving, genre-fication, tips for organizing and processing books, or any type of shelving that promotes equitable access) and are available between 9 am -11:00 a.m. CST on either July 14th, July 21st, July 28, 2022, please email: Dr. Andrea Jamison aqjamis@ilstu.edu

    If you would like to share knowledge or expertise about how you manage a school library program specific to: budgeting or fundraising, being a leader within the school, mentoring paraprofessionals or library volunteers, or tips for handling the multiple jobs of a school librarian or children's librarian, and are available between 5:30-8 p.m. CST on either July 14th, July 21st, July 28, 2022, please email: Dr. Andrea Jamison aqjamis@ilstu.edu

    I can provide guest speakers with a letter. I have about 10 grad students in each class.
