Please join the Social Responsibilities Round Table for a Virtual Summit on April 7. This event is free and open to the public. This year's theme is "Building Spaces of Solidarity and Connection: A Historical, Theoretical, and Practical Lens on Libraries' Commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Justice."

Speakers from around the country will offer historical, theoretical, and practical perspectives on how institutions, library staff, and adjacent organizations have engaged with minoritized, vulnerable, and structurally marginalized populations. They will share learnings and tools that librarians, educators, and information workers can apply to develop more inclusive and equitable services, spaces, and programming. Panels will touch on partnerships with cultural organizations, institutional disfranchisement of African Americans, diversity in children's and school librarianship, services for immigrant and refugee populations, and more.
