ALA invites you to attend National Day of Racial Healing 2025: Transforming Collective Communities with Mental Health Practices, a virtual panel discussion made up of ALA division leaders, on January 21st, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. CT. This panel is organized by the Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services (ODLOS). The ninety minute virtual event will begin with mental health professional Grace Le sharing her expertise on how mental health can impact our individual journeys towards racial healing. Following the presentation is a moderated panel that will share ALA leaders' perspectives and experiences on collective community healing towards racial equity and our roles in our library spaces.

Our panelists are AASL President Becky Calzada, PLA President Michael Lambert, RUSA President Ilana Stonebraker, and ACRL Vice President Brad Warren. Headshots and bios for our panel participants can be found here.
