  • To serve as a source of information on recommended ethnic collections, services, and programs.
  • To organize task forces, institutes, and workshops to carry out the functions of the Round Table as defined in the petition.
  • To develop for Annual conferences forums and symposia programs that deal with the key issues of ethnicity and librarianship.
  • To maintain a liaison with the Office of Library Outreach Services and cooperate with other ALA units, including the caucuses in joint projects for the betterment of outreach services.
  • To disseminate the work of the Round Table through a program of publications

    ACRL- ALSIS (Academic Library Services for International Students) would like to invite you for our Spring 2025 events. ALSIS Membership is NOT required.

     

    1. BYOA- Bring Your Own Article- Monday, February 10, 2025- 2pm ET.- PASSED EVENT
      You can still add an article to the ALSIS Shared Zotero Library.
      Criteria: Any article that addresses Library & Information services to International students

     

    1. Panel Discussion (on Zoom):  Library Tours, Tutorials & Instruction for International Students - Sometime the week of March 10
      We will have panelists share information about library tours, tutorials and other outreach initiatives designed specially with international students in mind.  Discussion and Q&A to follow.  If you are interested in presenting, please contact Elizabeth Young Miller (elm522@lehigh.edu).
