hi everyone. I and TeachignBooks are hosting a watch party so we can be together and celebrate -- this Monday AM. Details below if you wish to join. Regardless, my very best.

    Celebrating Book Awards Together

Join our Zoom Party on Monday, January 24 as we watch the announcements of this year's book awards from the American Library Association with fellow book enthusiasts. Together we can share joy, cheer, and even resources as the award-winning titles are announced. Your classes are welcome to join as well!

The Newbery, Caldecott, Printz, Coretta Scott King, Pura Belpré, American Indian, Asian/Pacific American, Schneider, and many other awards will be announced.

Monday, January 24, 8AM Central Time

    Zoom: Register today

    Twitter: Follow @TeachingBooks

In true TeachingBooks fashion, resources for these fabulous titles and authors will be shared as awards are announced. And, everyone who registers for the watch party will be sent a digital display from TeachingBooks and Book Connections filled with resources for all of the winning titles!

This should be super fun and energizing: taking in the award announcements with others. And, in this challenging era, celebrating this professional moment together seems spectacular. I hope you can join us.

    My best -- Nick
