Hello brain trust,
I am one of a few school librarians in Indiana that meets monthly with our state Department of Education to discuss issues in school libraries. At our most recent meeting, we brainstormed topics for future webinar professional development. One of the things they said would be great is to host speakers talk about the Science of Reading and how school libraries, especially elementary level can help in this work. This is also a topic many of the elem. librarians have said they too want to learn more about.
Please share names of people and/or organizations that could do this work. We are looking specifically not just what is the Science of Reading. Our state with its investment in this area has that covered. We are wanting to learn more specifically how can the school librarian help.
Thank you all in advance for recommendations. Feel free to reply to me directly at
