We want to make you aware of an important issue regarding the unauthorized posting of webinar recordings on WebinarTV.us.
This site aggregates and hosts recordings of webinars that were publicly accessible, which may include content from school events, vendor-hosted sessions, university programs, and other professional webinars. If you have participated in or hosted any public-facing webinar, your content may be at risk of being posted without your consent.
If you find your content on the site:
You can request removal by emailing remove@webinartv.us. Your request should include:
Important:
In addition to requesting the removal of the webinar recording, be sure to explicitly request that all associated data and database entries related to your content are permanently deleted from their system.
According to the site, once a host submits a removal request, future webinars from that host should no longer appear in their search engine results.
Preventative Recommendation:
It is strongly recommended to include the following statement on your event webpages, registration forms, and at the beginning of webinars:
"Unauthorized recording of any part of this event is strictly prohibited without prior written permission. This includes video or audio recording, chat or AI-generated transcriptions, and screenshots."
Please share this information with your chapter members and colleagues. Staying proactive can help protect your content and intellectual property.
