I am preparing a presentation on AI for a Educator's Conference. Kudos ahead of time to the Howard County Public Library System (Maryland) that presented at the Maryland/Delaware Library Conference in Ocean City. I am taking their presentation based on Public Library workshops on AI and converting to some ideas on AI and education myths, beliefs, and steps forward. Would love to get any input from any of you on the following:
How do you plan to address or utilize AI in the classroom, or how have you?
What are your favorite AI apps?
What are your greatest fears (some obvious) of AI in the classroom?
What is a success story you have had regarding AI and connection to education?
    Any other thoughts?
Any responses will be anonymously included in the presentation, and I will share with you the presentation and resources after July 29th if you would like this. This is being presented at the DSEA Learning Summit Conference in Delaware, July 29, 2025.
I'd love any and all input, questions, info. you'd be willing to share! Thanks!

    Hello Harry,
In Leander ISD, we have a page that defines, connects AI use to our core documents, and includes guiding principles. We are adding to this page but haven't posted more yet. We also only use Magic School AI with students; other AI toolsa are open to staff. https://www.leanderisd.org/artificialintelligence/

Do you follow The AI School Librarian Facebook Group or on Substack? Elissa Malespina is the admin and has curated many resources. Perhaps there is info there to help you as it's specific for school librarians?
