AASL empowers leaders to transform teaching and learning.
AASL National Conference is the only national conference dedicated solely to school librarians and has always provided learning tailored to the profession's unique role in education. AASL23 is no different and has even more educational sessions and events than before! Don't miss out and register now!
All non-ticketed events on Thursday are open to conference attendees.
Partner Sessions
Jump into learning early on Thursday ! AASL partner organizations will be presenting sessions on Thursday morning. Make room in your schedule for presentations from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation: Welcoming Schools and the Anti-Defamation League Education.
IdeaLab
Another traditional pre-conference event, the IdeaLab is a "science fair" for school librarians. You'll want to be in Tampa to browse the room of presentations from your peers and discover new best practices you can put in place come Monday.
Poster Sessions
New this year! Taking place along with the IdeaLab, attendees will have the opportunity for even more peer-to-peer learning. Browse the posters during the Thursday afternoon session and talk with the presenters or visit the displays in the exhibit hall during the remainder of the conference.
Vendor Sessions
Take what you discover in the exhibit hall and enhance it! These sessions, presented by our vendors and school librarians, will share ways you can use products and resources to elevate your teaching and learning.
No matter the day or where you turn, AASL23 education sessions and events allow you to tailor a conference experience just right for you. Don't miss out and register now!
