School Libraries as No Place for Hate
During the September AASL Town Hall, AASL President Kathy Lester will be joined by Molly Berwanger, Kristin Jager, and Dennis Nelson from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) who will share information about No Place for Hate. No Place for Hate is a holistic, school-wide approach to improving school climate through anti-bias and bullying prevention education. It leverages the wisdom of the entire school community to plan and achieve school climate goals and the customizable program amplifies student voice as learners lead school-wide activities. Join the conversation with AASL leaders and peers and discuss how school librarians can continue to make school libraries a safe place for their learners.
