Significant problems for school library media centers in differing environments.
The notes from the Roundtable discussion at Midwinter are attached. The group found that many of the challenges that we faced in school libraries were similar regardless of the environment. There were issues that presented unique problems for particular environments. For example, the number of ESL and ELL students in urban areas is often greater than in suburban areas although not always. Please take some time to read over the notes and lets continue our discussion.
