AASL is partnering with The Pokémon Company, International, to bring the popular Pokémon Club to school libraries.
Pokémon Club is a great way for elementary school librarians to build a community of play and actively engage students who are learning remotely. At Pokémon Club students can interact with their peers by playing Pokémon cards, creating fun arts and crafts, and brushing up on their Pokémon trivia. For more information and to apply, visit www.ala.org/aasl/pokemon.
When in-person learning resumes, school librarians already participating virtually will have the opportunity to roll out in-person Pokémon Clubs at their school.
Participation in the program is open to all school librarians. Please be sure to share this fun and engaging opportunity widely.
