  • 1.  AASL's 2011 Emerging Leaders update

    Posted Jun 16, 2011 09:08 PM

Over the past 6 months the A-Team of the 2011 Class of Emerging Leaders has been working on creating media to help promote L4L. We will be sharing the work that we’ve done with Affiliate Assembly on Sunday morning, but I wanted to give you the opportunity to preview the media we’ve created, as we won’t have time to share it all. You can find links to all our media projects at our Diigo page: http://groups.diigo.com/group/2011-emerging-leaders-group-a/content/tag/ateamproject

Also on that Diigo page are links to the tools we used and examples of the Standards in action that were shared with us by librarians all over the country: http://groups.diigo.com/group/2011-emerging-leaders-group-a

We will also be presenting during the Emerging Leader poster session Friday afternoon at 3:00 in room 271-273 in the Convention Center and in the Exhibit Hall at 1:30 and 4:00 on Saturday.

We look forward to sharing our work with you, and hope that the media we’ve created will be used to further promote L4L.

Thank you for a terrific presentation in the Exhibit Hall this afternoon.  Your enthusiasm is contagious, and I loved talking you with you all  about the survey, your conclusions, and the products you've created to get out the L4L message.  It's a timely topic well done.
