AASL Leaders, Movers, and Shakers – please share widely ASAP and post reminders to vote on all you Social Media channels linking to President Church’s instructional blog!

Be involved. Be informed. Be a voter. It is important for all members of AASL to exercise the right to vote in ALA's 2017 election. ALA Election closes end-of-day on April 5, so you still have time! Voting is critical for ensuring the voice of school libraries and the youth we serve is represented at the national level.
All you need is your ALA voting email (and if you don’t have it, contact ALA and they will resend it). AASL President Audrey Church wrote a KQ Blog with help understanding the process and an excellent link to step-by-step instructions. http://knowledgequest.aasl.org/lets-get-vote/
Stressed or confused about the ALA Council voting process? You can vote for multiple candidates, but you do not necessarily have to vote for the maximum, so select only the nominees you choose. Use this filter to sort for a list of AASL members running for council: https://thatandromeda.github.io/ala_candidate_filter/2017_ala_council.html
Your AASL Leadership Committee put together a powerful slate of candidates for the AASL Board. Follow this link to check out their comments on the KQ Blog: http://knowledgequest.aasl.org/author/lpreddy/
