Greetings all,
I am the co-chair of the Alaska Library Association 2022 Virtual Conference. First of all, we are very excited to be hosting our 2nd virtual conference. Please feel free to share our conference website with your members:
https://akla.org/2022/. Only $125 for non-members to attend.
However, my purpose for writing today is to ask about your policies around the recording of conference sessions. We are planning to record most of our conference sessions and make them available through our conference platform for 3 months after the conference. Recently one of our presenters asked if they could have a copy of the recording of their session for their professional use. I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with a request of this sort, and how you handled it. Is there any reason not to fulfill this request?
Thanks for your input and suggestions!
