Position Summary:
Performs a variety of professional librarian functions on behalf of the Pierce County Library System; provides reference and community outreach services to the public; instructs customers in the use of library equipment and resources; participates in maintaining assigned collection materials; represents the Library to the community; and performs other specialized duties relative to area of assignment.
Schedule: Forty (40) hours per week. Schedule is Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Schedule is subject to change. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, substitute for other staff, and attend meetings.
