The Cuyahoga County Public Library has a full-time Public Services Librarian II opportunity in the Children’s area of the Parma Heights Branch.
This position is full time with a beginning annual rate of $50,461 to $61,204. This position closes on 4/16/16.
General Summary:
Under limited supervision, provides reference and reader advisory services to customers. Instructs users in operation of library services and equipment. Participates in collection development and maintenance activities of the assigned subject area. Develops new and maintains ongoing programs and outreach opportunities to promote literacy. May serve as a person-in-charge of a branch and may supervise positions noted above. Assesses needs of the community and coordinates age appropriate outreach and program activities to ensure the goals and objectives of the library system are met. Supervisor of staffing and services for age group specialty.
Education and Experience:
To qualify, you must have a Master's degree in Library Science and two to four years of library service experience
