The mission of the Staff Organizations Round Table is to encourage the formation of staff organizations; to act as a clearinghouse for information about staff organizations; to bring staff organizations of library employees into closer relationship so as to foster mutual cooperation; to cooperate with all ALA units that are set up to study and act upon personnel matters.
