The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) wants you!
Retired?  Thinking of retiring?  If so, membership in RMRT offers you an opportunity to stay active professionally.
    RMRT:
    • Plans programs.
    • Provides mentorship/networking to younger ALA members (NMRT mixers)
    • Provides leadership opportunities.
    • Gives you opportunities to renew past friendships and make new ones.
    • Fosters lifelong professional involvement and networking.
    • Encourages active engagement in ALA and the profession of librarianship.
    • Opportunities for two ALA Conference travel grants.

RMRT members come from different parts of our profession, public libraries, school libraries and academic libraries. WE continue to stay active in ALA for the community, the conferences, and the opportunity to advocate for libraries. And of course, to talk about books and have FUN!
