The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) shall exist to develop programs of particular interest to retired persons from all types of libraries and all forms of library services, including formal opportunities for continued involvement and learning; a variety of leadership training and opportunities for mentoring; lifelong professional involvement and networking; and active engagement in the American Library Association and the profession of librarianship.

    Thanks to RMRT Programming Chair Nann Hilyard, her committee and RMRT Board members who worked together to develop strong programming for Annual 2026, I can share the information below, including room assignments. Here are programs to put on your conference schedule:

    RMRT Driehaus Museum Tour, Saturday, June 27, 10:00 a.m., 50 East Erie Street, Chicago, Ticketed event ($25), limited to 25 people

    RMRT  Membership Meeting, Saturday, June 27, 2-3:30pm.  Hyatt McCormick, Superior Room

    RMRT Book Club Annual In-Person Meeting, follows the Membership Meeting in the same room: 4-5pm , Hyatt McCormick, Superior Room
