    Dear RMRT Board and Members,

I have attached my Freedom to Read Foundation (FTRF) report based on the biannual FTRF meeting that was held virtually on January 29, 2026.

Before I began serving as your RMRT Liaison to FTRF, I had no idea of the depth and breadth of the foundation's work to protect and preserve intellectual freedom. It occurred to me during the meeting that I should share more information with you, the RMRT board and membership. I received permission from FTRF to share the attached court cases and developing issues reports along with my report.

I hope you will make time to read these documents and consider how you can spread the word about FTRF and support its work in your community.

    Thank you.

    Best,
    Judi
