Each month the Retired Members Round Table selects one of our members to highlight. This month we are highlighting Emily Bergman, who is the liaison to ALA for the Association of Jewish Libraries. I met Emily last summer in San Diego at ALA Annual and was intrigued by AJL. Emily does the good work of bringing the problem of antisemitism to the forefront in ALA and speaks on behalf of those of us who don't feel we have a voice on the topic. She has done extraordinary work in highlighting the antisemitism that still exists to this day, making all of us aware of this horrible trend in colleges and states across this nation. I have the deepest respect for Emily and am so grateful that I met her.
