Another book discussion by Zoom?

    Hi, RMRTers!
Our previous Zoom book talk was great fun -- and it was TWO MONTHS ago!
Anyone up for another session?  Danielle can provide a Zoom link.

It seems that  3 ET / 2 CT / 1 MT / noon PT. accommodates most.
    What day works for you?

If you are talking next week, Wednesday is out for me. Do you have a theme?

I think Wednesday is the ASGCLA Awards at the same time.

Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday works for me.  What are we going to talk about?

What are you reading?  Buy books from local stores.  They need your business more than Amazon.

Now Reading:  Rise and Shine by Anna Quinlan.  Story of two sisters, one a TV star and one a social worker and what happens in their lives.  TV star loses her job, social worker has crisis at work.  They learn they have not really been communicating and how to better relate to each other.  Great wome's book club selection.

Last MovieExtinction on Netflix.  Story of a family when earth is invaded by aliens.  Or are they?  Half way through the movie, the whole perspective changes and goes in a new direction.  Good movie.

You know that I am always up for a book discussion. Thursday's are not good for me, and it seems that my days are getting full again (and I am not going anywhere). How can that be??

Pick a day and hopefully I can attend. Already going through the last list.

Reading The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich right now.

    Thank you for doing this.

I didn’t get to the first one, so I’d love to attend a book discussion with my ALA friends! Yes, yes, yes.

Sounds like Friday, July 24th might work. Here is an idea for a book topic. In addition to our current reading, what is your go-to comfort book during times of stress. I am thinking other than religious/spiritual materials.

    Okay -- I've asked Danielle to schedule a Zoom session for Friday, 7/24 -- 3 ET / 2 CT / 1 MT / noon PT.

    The topics:
    (1)    A  book you've recently read that you really liked.   [It doesn't have to a newly-published.]
    (2)   Go-to comfort reading during stressful times.   (Other than religious/spiritual.)
