    Committee Actions since MW:

    • Revised the RMRT Membership Plan (revision attached).

    • Began compiling a list of state chapters with retiree membership category.

    • Drafted a short blurb (it takes a village to do this and we gratefully thank those RMRT members, in particular Michael Gorman, for their edits) inviting ALA members to join RMRT (attached).  Various RMRT members sent the invitation to their groups and an invitation was posted to the general membership via Connect.

    • Drafted a letter of invitation for membership to be sent to retirees announced in American Libraries and division publications.  Email invites were sent to retirees announced in past two months’ American Libraries.

    • Sent Danielle Alderson, ALA staff liaison, a revision to the RMRT brochure, which will be made when additional brochures are needed.
