RMRT (Retired Members Round Table)

The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) shall exist to develop programs of particular interest to retired persons from all types of libraries and all forms of library services, including formal opportunities for continued involvement and learning; a variety of leadership training and opportunities for mentoring; lifelong professional involvement and networking; and active engagement in the American Library Association and the profession of librarianship.

    Are we still meeting on Saturday from 8:30 am - 10:00 pm?


    And dinner is Friday night, correct?  Count me in!

    How do I register as retiree, bundled for $180.  It keeps wanting me to pay $400 for bundled.

    I would call them. Is your membership in ALA listed as retired?  I think it all works backwards from the, but membership will know.

    Don't forget that if you retire and have been a continuous (dues-paying) member for at least 25 years you are eligible for free lifetime membership. I finally found a form somewhere on the ALA web site and sent it in. A few weeks after I sent it in I followed up with membership services and they took care of everything for me. It's a really nice benefit for all of those years of paying your dues!
