Poll: The RMRT Board Meeting has traditionally been held on Saturday morning at 8:30 to 10:00, but that has been problematic for some members. This year we have scheduled it for 3-4 pm. There is still time to change it. What is your preference?

I like the new time of 3-4PM on Saturday.  As the 2016-2018 Chair of the ALA Council Orientation Committee, I have to moderate the Council Orientation Session on Saturday from 8am - 10:30PM.  And, as the 2016-2018 Chair of the American Libraries Advisory Committee, I have to chair that committee's meeting from 1-2:30PM on Saturday.

i like the new time. I was concerned that the morning time conflicted with the Washington Office update. That session is valuable for library advocates, and that is certainly what we retirees can be.  would the book club follow, at 4 pm?

Will this be at 4:30 on Saturday again?  If so, when would the book club meet?

Afternoon is definitely better for Annual (and Midwinter!)

We had a poor turnout at annual last year because of lots of other choices and meetings, but with a later time, we could probably make it work.  I didn't schedule a book group because of our discussion about only having it at midwinter, but there is still time to add it and I know it is a well-liked event!

I didn't vote because I really don't care.  I tall depends on what comes up as a conflict and I won't know that yet.  I will come in on Thursday in case.

I think it's a good idea to try a new time on Saturday afternoon.  We did decide to forego the book discussion at Annual Conference since there are so many conflicting programs.  It works best at Midwinter.

I also like the new Saturday afternoon time. I do think that there are so many conflicts at Annual that our book discussion might be problematic but we could give it another try if we change to the late afternoon meeting time.

I like the new time, but the former time is also okay for me.  I don't really have a preference.

I like the later time.  Maybe I can take advantage of some of the exhibitor breakfasts and programs.

I think that the later time will help more people attend but I will make every effort to attend, whatever the time. Saturday is a very day during conferences.  Pat Hogan

It really depends on whether we have a program or not. In the past we met in the morning and attended a program in the afternoon

I LOVE  the new time.  I just found out that the committee meeting that I had at midwinter which meet at the same time as RMRT (and right next door), is on the same morning schedule in Chicago.  As chair-elect, I definitely want to go to the RMRT meeting and also need to go to the committee meeting.  If they are  at different times that would be great!
