The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) shall exist to develop programs of particular interest to retired persons from all types of libraries and all forms of library services, including formal opportunities for continued involvement and learning; a variety of leadership training and opportunities for mentoring; lifelong professional involvement and networking; and active engagement in the American Library Association and the profession of librarianship.

    Hello RMRT members. I am trying to get a count of how many RMRT members would be interested in attending a Friday night dinner at a restaurant in Washington DC during the ALA annual conference. Please send me your answers to the following questions:
    1. Are you planning to attend (in person) the annual conference in Washington DC in June 2022?
    2. If you are planning on attending, are you interested in joining other RMRT members at a restaurant (at your own expense) on Friday June 24 at 7:00PM?
    3.  Would you be coming alone or with a partner?
    4.  What would you think about having a reception at a hotel suite instead of a restaurant?
