Hello NMRT members,
My name is Annice Sevett and I am the president of NMRT this year. My goal is to make sure NMRT members find value in their membership and that we are serving your needs as new members to ALA. We have a number of programs and services that we offer throughout the year, such as conference scholarships, online programs on timely topics, resume review, and more. All of our programs and services would not be possible without committee members putting in the work to make sure NMRT continues to thrive.
NMRT is currently in the process of appointing committee chairs and members for the '22-'23 year. I want to encourage you to volunteer your time serving on one of our many committees. NMRT has a wide variety of committees with varying responsibilities and time commitments. NMRT guarantees committee appointments for those who volunteer, so it is a great way to get started with committee work in ALA and is a wonderful opportunity to work with library workers from around the country.
